The most handsome man of his era… yet also the most feared...
Cesare Borgia was the most infamous member of history’s original crime family – the Borgias. Son of the scandalous Pope Alexander VI, and brother to the notorious Lucrezia Borgia, he rose above them all to become an icon of power. At the age of twenty-four, he was an accomplished murderer, at twenty-seven he had conquered most of Italy, and by thirty-one he lay dead on the battlefield. Described by some as ‘a rebel against Christ’ who deserved to die, Cesare’s brilliant mind, ruthless ambition, and insatiable desires have inspired writers, artists, and philosophers for centuries – most notably Machiavelli’s ideal ruler in ‘The Prince’.
This book gathers together all the crucial information needed for a study into the dramatic life and death of Cesare Borgia, including a detailed timeline, a biographical profile, an extensive description of his life in Rome, and a discussion of the Borgia family's legendary connection to poison.
Optimized for navigation as an eBook, with a table of contents linked to every section, this book also features a broad collection of texts regarding Cesare and his infamous family.

The Life Legend Of Cesare Borgia eBook M G Scarsbrook Reviews
For the more casual reader who is interested in the person and some insight into the era, Rafael Sabatani's book is a better bet.
Though some of the salient facts differ for other historical prospectives, this give a good view of a part of C Borgia's life and activities.
The book was informative and conscise so lived up to chronology, however, reading it was like swatting for a history exam. It failed as a novel it was dull reading.
Love Love Love this book!! So much juicy stuff.....So much more to know and admire about the man, the family, and his relationships......
Straightforward historical events in chronological order under several categorical headings. Not for entertainment, just information. Historical novels like Sara Poole's series, Sarah Bower's Sins of the House of Borgia, and M.G. Scarsbrook's works are for entertainment, information, and literary speculation about these fascinating Machiavellians and their relationships.
I have always been untried by this family, the Borgias. It is informative ( and astounding) to read about 14th*s member of the clan, Cesare, who fits the mold of the of his family. Amazing and disturbing.
This book is informative. However, the writing style is old and has many Latin phrases that are not explained.....With that said, it is a different Historical view of Cesare Borgia and His Father Pope Alexander Vl.......Further, When the Cesare Borgia book is finished
the book continues with "The Prince" Machiavelli....He was a contemporary of Cesare Borgia. Lots of Historical information. However, a bit slow to read......After saying this.....I did enjoy learning more about this era of History which is often overlooked..........I would only suggest the book to those determined to ingest this History from 1492 - 1507,
I loved this story. It was well written and compelling. I love anything to do with history and will read anything I can from the beginning of time to the present. I loved how this author brought Cesare Borgia to life. Great reading!
